    Very good

I liked the breakfast it was simple and very good. I also like the cleaness of the room

There was no kittle in the room and there was nothing to hang towels in the toilet and there was no small fridge

To be honest, getting away from it! The only good points were (1) there was plenty of hot water available in the room and (2) the breakfast room staff were helpful; the drinks machine could not produce water hot enough to make a cup of tea. The lady was kind enough to boil a kettle each morning so that we could have a cup.

    (1) Incompetent receptionist at check-in. He assigned us to the wrong room. We had unpacked when a lady entered the room with a card which was for the same room. We all repaired across the road to the reception where I was told we had been given the wrong room and we were allocated a different ,albeit slightly better, room. However the experience destroyed any sense of security. (2) The rooms were extremely poorly lit and there was only 1 plughole available in the room for any electrical apparatus , eg a lamp. Telephone charger, hair dryer etc. No two could be used at the same time. (3) On arrival we were told the "air-conditioning" was being repaired and were provided with a fan. During our stay the repairs were never completed and if, as was necessary to make the room comfortable, the fan was on no other electrical item could be used. (4) On departure I requested a taxi from the receptionist. I specifically queried whether the vehicle which came was a taxi and was told yes. On arrival at the station I was told that there was no meter and the charge was £17.00p for a journey which normally costs £6 or £7. I can only assume that there was an "arrangement" between the receptionist and the car firm. I think the hotel owes me £10 at least. (5) There are no lifts either in the main hotel or the annex to which we were assigned. Our initial room was on the third floorreachable via steep and narrow staircases. The second was in the basement ands overlooked from the street meaning the blinds had to be permanently closed and the windows were not openable.

    Good

Location! Baker Street underground station is two streets away, and the edge of Regents Park is quite close, beautiful in the summer. The Hotel itself is situated in a a lovely period building in Gloucester Place. Breakfast is in a basement conservatory and is adequate, with all the basics regularaly restocked.

I spent far too much time actually looking for it!! It is in a nondescript, period terrace, with a basic brass plaque, kinda looks like a dentist. There is no lift, so upstairs or downstairs, pack light! The room itself is very light with two huge windows, which are traditional sash, with fairly inefectual double glazing, It is on a very busy street!! It has NO AIR CONDITIONING, this means the windows have to remain open. The street is busy day and night, sleep was very hard to come by!! Hot water in the morning was sporadic.

    Convenient location and good deal

The room was smaller than I imagined and the hotel is in more than one building meaning that if I wanted a cup of coffee I had to cross a main road to another building, the same applied for breakfast. There was a lot of road noise (it is in the centre of London) as there was only single glazed windows. Lastly the bed squeaked which was a little annoying.

    Fabulous

Its location and friendly staff. Good sized room and well fitted out.Could do with a refit though.

Well the aircon was not working and it was hot. Tow of the lights in the bathroom were broken, and it needed a shower tray. On one plug in room and no good for a woman as no mirror. Needs a little more in way of sittings

The location was for my conference

I had a double room but I would not have liked to have been two in this room, one of you would have had to stayed outside when showering and dressing, double room, very small! I was also staying across the road, no sign to say that it was part of the hotel, and being a single lady travelling on my own for two nights I didn`t feel safe going in this building on my own. The only good thing about this Hotel is it`s location, very good for getting around london.

    The convenient location.

The room was very very small. Small double bed as well. Not comfortable at all. Poor sleep quality as there is too much noise from the front road. The room was located in the annex accross the street. Had to go to a different building everyday for breakfast.

    Location

I was booked into overflow accommodation without notice. The room is extremely small and noisy. The air con is not working so very very cold. I had go across the road for breakfast. Very poor hotel, avoid if possible, especially during winter period.

    Location and price

Air in room was noisy and didn't cool the room. Room was internal with no outside window, so air con was important

It was ideally located for where we needed to be in London and the WiFi access was critical to our business trip.

The rooms were too cramped and the quallity of the breakfast was substandard.

    Very good

Good Location clean and very nice continental breakfast

No carpet in bedroom so noisy. Bed creeky. Had to cross main road for breakfast.

    Fabulous

Although quite small, the room was new and clean. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent.

Although apparently the hotel was brand new, nobody had thought of no sound insulation whatsoever during construction.
